A few images from my new camera – the Fujifilm X100s. The X100s is a pocket rocket camera, designed to pack enough punch to produce quality images but still be small enough to make it easy to carry around. This Land Rover was parked up in Hoylake.

The low light performance is definitely something I want to spend more time playing with – very impressed with it so far.

As is the macro mode….

And the wide-ish 23mm fixed lens also allows for some great landscape type shots.

The weather hasn’t been the best since I’ve got hold of it – it’s alternated between snow or that cold you can’t hold a camera straight so hopefully I’ll be able to get out more in the next few weeks and give it a proper trial.
More images to come here and I’ve got a more comprehensive review of my thoughts on the camera to come over at LightStalking.com!

Great set, Mark
Very interesting images. Impressed with your pocket camera. Would u recommend it for street shots?
Hi Bill – it’s perfect for street shots as far as I’m concerned. 23mm is a great focal length combined with the Trans-X sensor and f/2 is plenty fast for most street shots, even at night as you can see from the newsagent shot.
