Another shot from the archives – new stuff coming soon. This is the underside of the pier at Southport, again from February. I was cursing the lack of a tripod when I was taking these shots as I wanted to try out the bracketing feature on my new D90 but the wind was that fierce I doubt one would have been much use anyway. Although it looks nice and sunny this was a proper hat, gloves and scarf day. I love winter me!

amazing how temporary it looks, but that shot does really work, so much to look at and great detail captured, the star burst and flare on one side, yet the nice blue sky on the other really works well imo
