More Grafton Street Graffiti

Alternative view of the graffiti from the last post – I wish I’d found this fella before Halloween!
Grafton Street Revisited

Graffiti on Grafton Street – I’ve posted graffiti from this same wall before (one two three), every single time I go past there’s something added or changed, I love it.
Presbyterian Illustration II – Toxteth, Liverpool

More graffiti on the hoardings of the Welsh Presbyterian Church in Toxteth.
Presbyterian Illustration – Toxteth, Liverpool

Graffiti on hoardings around the Welsh Presbyterian Church in Toxteth. Not had chance to get out with my camera much recently so diving back into the archives. This was taken in April – these boards are always full of graffiti and it is constantly changing.
Knight Flyer – Knight Street, Liverpool

Cool poster I saw on Knight Street – after a bit of digging I sort of managed to track down the artist who produces these, his prints are available here.
Mini Graffiti II – Grafton Street, Liverpool

The very last of this series of graffiti pics, I promise! This is a similar shot to my last post but with the Mini moved real close – interestingly I went along Grafton Street the other day and this graffiti is already in the process of being covered up by different graffiti.
I’ve really enjoyed taking these photos and I’m starting to get quite a collection of graffiti photos together – might look at knocking a book up. I’ve used myphotobook.co.uk in the past for books – bit pricey but the quality of their books are top notch.
Next series of shots will be from the cathedrals – haven’t been around them for a while and they’re always a good source of inspiration.
Mini Graffiti – Grafton Street, Liverpool

Different take on the graffiti from Grafton Street – shown in the back window of my Mini. I’ve added some more wallpapers, including a LFC one and a Beatles one – have a look and if there are any photos that you’d like to see added, let me know.
Grafton Street Graffiti III – Grafton Street, Liverpool

Another from the same graffiti on Grafton Street – this is at the other end of the street (the start of the graffiti is here, the middle here).
Grafton Street Graffiti II

Second in series from Grafton Street – this graffiti is massive, hoping to do a photostitch to show it off properly.
Grafton Street Graffiti

Graffiti on Grafton Street, Toxteth. First in a series of graffiti shots from a couple of locations around the same area.
Snappy! – Seel Street, Liverpool

Last in the series of graffiti shots – it’s been good to be back HDRing and I like to think these shots have benefitted from the technique. Not sure what I’m going to be posting next – have got a few options, which is nice (and a change).
Seel Street Hues

Second to last one of the graffiti stuff – this one is further up town on Seel Street, opposite Pogue Mahone’s. The smell here is fantastic and not in a good way. I’ve no idea what a doubtpack is and neither Google or Yahoo can cast any light. Answers on an e-card please….?
Cropper Street Graffiti

No HDR for ages and then a quite obviously over the top one! I felt this graffiti particularly deserved the full blown treatment. It’s on Cropper Street, which is an unusual street as it seems quite quiet and then 10 black cabs hurtle through at severe speed – apparently it’s a well known taxi shortcut.
Your guess is as good as mine – Tithebarn Street, Liverpool

I spotted this little lady off Tithebarn Street – someone had tried to rip this off the panel it was pasted on and she looked nun too happy about it….(sorry!)
Weather changes moods – Duke Street, Liverpool

The weather has been terrible for taking photos the past couple of weeks (snow aside) – mostly overcast and misty and as a consequence I’ve not been taking any photos, despite having bought a D90 recently. So on Friday I went for a big walk – 3 hours and from one end of the city to the other. I tried to make a conscious effort to avoid areas I’ve photographed heavily already so I found myself around the Chinatown/Duke Street area, which is an odd area of town as there’s a lot of new development and a lot of neglected areas within a short distance of each other. There’s also lots of graffiti, as seen here. I’ve seen this graffiti before here and at a few others places – I like how grungy this has come out. More colourful stuff to follow as I’ve been doing far too much B&W stuff recently.
Flyposters will be prosecuted! – Bold Street, Liverpool

No mention anywhere of what happens to graffiti artists….no doubt they will be dealt with equally as sternly.
